Lytle ISD is proud to announce the launch of our mobile app, an easier way to access information from our district websites. Visit your Android or Apple app store, search Lytle Pirates, accept Notification Messages and you're set! Thank you to the Lytle Education Foundation for helping us get this project off the ground!
The Primary is SO excited about our new Science Lab! Mrs. Rios is doing an amazing job engaging our little ones! They count down the days until it’s their Lab day! As we walk into her room all you can hear is comments like…”Oh I love this!” “This is the best day ever!” “I’m so glad it’s Friday!” “What are we going to do?”. The best part is Mrs. Rios’ lessons tie in to what we are learning in class, so the kids are making connections everywhere!
Look for the blue Lytle Let's Talk button on the front of our webpages!
Let’s give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to one of our little pirates! Jordyn Chapa is a first grader at Lytle Primary school and was selected to participate in the Mutton Bustin’ competition at the SA Rodeo this past Saturday. She was #3 in Line Wearing the #9 vest. She earned a score on 85 points and showed that sheep who’s BOSS. She was the go around leader and won herself the CHAMPION belt buckle. She came into my class every day and would tell me about how she was practicing at home (daddy being the sheep). We would speak about Habit # 2, Begin with the end in mind and how she wanted to win. She defiantly understands that when you set your mind to something and work hard, you will reach your goal!
Congratulations Jordyn! Mr. Wells and Lytle Primary are proud of you!!!
Lytle ISD Superintendent Michelle Carroll Smith launched a new blog entry this week. Her first blog gives insight on her back to school thoughts for the new school year and how Lytle ISD is taking the lead in engaging in a new way of learning for our students. It touches on the exciting opening of the newly renovated Elementary Campus and some district goals for the year. Click the graphic featured in this article to access Mrs. Smith's blog and the Transformation resource.
